Well, jika last Tuesday Isis ada update about our CCAM 13 - Unifi Photoshoot (if ada yang masih belum baca - boleh click here), now seperti yang Isis janji kan, Isis nak tulis about last year CCAM award and why it is so special to me!

Bagi yang bekerja diluar bidang contact centre, CCAM ini sebenarnya bermaksud Contact Centre Assosiciation Malaysia. So during the award night yang dibuat sekali setahun, ada banyak kategori anugerah yang boleh dipertanding oleh sesiapa sahaja yang bekerja dalam contact centre inductry. It is a national event and bukan sahaja tertumpu kepada satu-satu line business or company.

Example, Isis bekerja dengan VADS - Telekom Malaysia tapi Isis masa itu masuk under category Team Leader / Supervisor for more than 100 seats. Dalam category Isis, ada banyak calon-calon lain dari industri lain contohnya banking, sales, telemarketing, online ticketing, etc.
Cara pemilihan memang rumit dah susah. Dalam company Isis, untuk category Best Supervisor More Than 100 seats ada lebih kurang 200 orang. Itu dalam VADS Kuala Lumpur sahaja. Daripada jumlah semua supervisor yang ada, our company talent management akan filter and buat interview session (termasuklah dengan mock presentation dengan barisan-barisan AGM). Lepas internal-filtration stage, baru lah nama kami dihantarkan oleh company to CCAM committee.

Lepas itu bermulalah session untuk siapkan write up yang 33 pages - waktu ini kerja Isis just menulis je and beritahu to the panels (in writting yer!) why Isis perlu menang this award la bla bla bla. Oh, and also kiteorang semua diwajibkan untuk menyiapkan slide presentation yang ada 7 slides all together - summary of our write up. Isis masih ingat lagi yang Isis diberitahu CCAM committee shortlisted kan sebanyak 57 write ups from all over Malaysia.

Alhamdulillah, masa cuti raya, Isis receive an email from CCAM yang mengatakan dari 57 org calon, Isis termasuk di dalam top 20 and berjaya ke pusingan seterusnya - which is PERSONAL PRESENTATION. Masa ini memang nervous - nak buat presentation yang tidak formal, be myself and sell my own personality to 6 panels of judges. Dah la panels semua ini Isis tidak kenal langsung. Out of 6 panels tu, hanya 3 je orang Malaysia. Sorang dari Indonesia, sorang dari Japan and another one from Singapore.

Just imagine la waktu Isis menunggu dalam waiting room - berdebar-debar rasanya. Asyik nak pee pee. Smoking tak yah citer la. And the best part is, Isis adalah candidate paling last. And I only manage to present pukul 8 PM!
After presentation, there is a month gap before the award night.Usually individual award die announce dekat nak hujung-hujung. CCAM Award ini memang dibawah Kementerian Sumber Manusia dan signoff pun by Menteri Sumber Manusia. So if menang - memang Alhamdulillah as the certificate carries alot of things. Sampai boleh doublekan expected salary in CVs. Opps! Sekarang ini kite tak tengok dah recognition given by own company. Dream big and aim big only, babes! LOL!

Masa die announce tu, die start ngan Bronze. Masa tu, yang menang Bronze is one of VADS's TL also, Lisz. My name was announce Silver. 2nd Place. Walaupun waktu tu hati macam kecewa juga sebab Isis aim for Gold - but lepas dipikirkan balik, yang memang GOLD tu die ada 7 years of supervisor experience while waktu tu Isis just ada 9 months experience. Hell yeah it is a superb achievement la kan?!

Nevertheless, it is really a sweet memory and without the award winning, for sure I'm not be able to be here at my current position.
